Enrollment

Since 1979, Banbury Crossroads School has offered a caring, positive and individualized learning experience in a safe family atmosphere for children from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.  To achieve this unique learning environment, we limit enrollment to 100 students, with a maximum student:teacher ratio of 12:1.  We know that our developmentally appropriate and personalized experiences are second to none. 

Admission to Banbury Crossroads Private School requires a careful discernment and matching procedure between the philosophical goals and expectations of the School, and those of the prospective students and their parents.  It is a mutual process.  Provided that such a match is observed by the administration of the School, and agreed upon by the parents and students, the prospective students are admitted to Banbury Crossroads, regardless of academic achievement, religion, race or economic status.

We invite interested parents and students to arrange a visit to our school, to help them make an informed decision about Banbury Crossroads.   Except for students arriving from outside the country or province, for whom such a tour is impossible, this visual experience and discussion with the Director and other school members are invaluable for clarifying the philosophical and practical applications of the School.  An information package, including a Parent Questionnaire, is distributed for completion at this time, in order to highlight parental understanding of each new student for the other teachers.

During the school term, we also offer a two-day trial period, without cost, for your children to participate in our programs for a day or two.  This allows children the opportunity to observe their comfort level with other students, teachers and the academic process.  It also allows teachers and students to participate in the decision making procedure along with administration and parents.  A meeting between parents and administration will confirm the decision.

Registration forms must be completed, along with payment of pertinent School Fees, in order for students to be added to our enrollment.
